You would think that three weeks from the shop would feel like a vacation, but it didn’t. I built the website during the days off while at home and hoped for the best back at Gardiner. As of yesterday afternoon, Saturday my business insurance came through with an estimated amount to reimburse me for damages and the owner of the building had his insurance company do a walk through and ALL WENT WELL. We have turned the corner and should remain open regular hours from this point forward. Any work that contractors will do with sheetrock etc we can work around, right? Yeah. See you at the shop Wednesdays through Saturdays 9-4.

It is light out when we leave the shop and we are starting to think about casting in the evenings at the waterfront park soon. I’m getting the itch.

Burst Pipes gives shop owner time to build website

  • Feb. 11, 2023

I took advantage of the drying time with many blowers in the shop to build a website! You are reading the Fly Paper now. I hope you will be stuck to this newsprint for the time being and enjoy your stay here too. Unlike the real stuff that traps that pesky house flies that are a nuisance, instead my wicked good amature entomologist husband, Eric, will be writing about insects and stuff. Then there will be flies that I tie and hatching bugs that we will keep you updated on. We welcome kind hearted comments to keep the chatter going. One of our core values is "community", so here it is on the Fly Paper. Leave a comment to join us and tell us where you are from.
